Informational tools

HourVello provides free calculators for general informational use. Results are estimates based on your entries and the assumptions described on each tool. They are not official time records, payroll processing, or legal, financial, or tax advice.

Work hours and overtime

The calculator uses a configurable threshold and multiplier. It does not determine whether a worker is covered or nonexempt, apply state or local laws, calculate daily overtime, or account for every employer policy. Hours crossing a workweek boundary need separate allocation. Do not average workweeks to determine overtime.

Clock time and gross pay

Time calculations use displayed clock times without a timezone and may differ from actual elapsed time during daylight-saving changes. Unpaid break timing is not tracked. Pay estimates are gross before taxes, deductions, tips, bonuses, differentials, and other payroll adjustments.

Your responsibility

Check entries and results before relying on them. Keep independent work records and verify official hours and wages with your employer or a qualified professional. You are responsible for copies you print, export, or save on a shared device.

Availability and accuracy

We aim for reliable tools and clearly explained calculations but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular payroll situation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, tools are provided as available without warranties. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
